How do I upload my Positive Pay check issue files?
In Online Banking for Business, you can use the File Transfer Facility (FTF) service to upload your check issue files. If you use Secure Transport (SFTP) to upload your files, you must go through Secure Transport (OpenText).
Note: Your existing check issue file formats will move from TreasuryNow to Online Banking for Business. Save your existing formatted files for future use before Monday, July 31. Any changes you make to formatted files in TreasuryNow after that date will not be moved over.
In FTF, you can locate your custom named document from the drop-down menu. Select the product and document type, and then attach your check issue file. Here’s how:
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Payments & Receivables tab.
- Under “File Transfer Facility”, select Send File.
- In the “Product” dropdown menu, choose the product type of the file you’re sending, in this case AR.
- In the “Document” dropdown menu, select your custom named document.
- Select the Browse icon to find your custom file from your directory, then select Send File.
- When prompted, confirm your identity with your preferred 2-step verification option. What is 2-step verification?
Your file is now uploading. When the upload is complete, note the Tracking ID. To check the status of your file, select Transmission Summary.
If your file has been processed successfully, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation report within minutes. You can keep a confirmation for your records. Here’s how:
- Select the “Payments & Receivables” tab.
- Under “File Transfer Facility”, select Received Files.
- Locate the automatic confirmation and keep for your records.
Note: The inbound check issue file cut-off time is 9 p.m. CT.
